What is important is to keep in mind that "science" may be a very broad category open to new definitions, that is, sometimes subject to old assumptions which may not always be useful. For example, science now has more obligation than ever before to be enjoyable and stimulating---the trend then is for a science that is intuitive above all other things. Will scientific interface change social interface? For example, when minds are genetically enhanced or stimulated?
