Nonviolence is a weapon of the strong.
I am going to fight in ways they are not prepared for. They are prepared for the violence as they have very well armed police and army. They are not however prepared to some other more sophisticated and creative actions for resistance and system change. The supreme art of war is to subdue the enemy without fighting. If you can become violent, then your objective is to destroy that which made you angry and violent in the first place. They may know how to handle you, but if you can control your own violent acts, then you can direct it towards them, and hopefully bring them down from their high horse. Then knowing how to control you helped them not at all. To put it simply, if you are going to fight, and its what they want, be too much for them to handle. When it gets down to having to use violence, then you’re playing the system’s game. The establishment will irritate you, pull your beard, flick your face to make you fight. Because once they’ve got you violent, then they know how to handle you. Nonviolence is a weapon of the strong.
