+1k to the Zeitgeist reccomendation. The patriot act isnt anywhere close to the worst of it. Read up on the merovingian bloodline, or the purpose of the birth certificate.Yes, the Patriot Act does contravene our civil liberties. But communism is an economic ideology. Definitely less freedom, though. It undermines the authority of the judiciary quite substantially and further empowers already too authoritarian police agencies. When it was originally put into legality, the president was on vacation, and instead of waiting the 10 days for it to go into effect without his signature, they had it signed with a machine that imitates his signature. wtf? Did you know... as a U.S. citizen, you can now be detained indefinately, without reason or trial, if it's only said that your suspected of terrorism? Watch the movie "zeitgeist" if you have no suspicions towards our government, (skip the religion portion) then get back to usthe patriot act.
Isn't it a step towards communism, turning citizens into suspects, and suspects into "terrorists"?
Anyone else notice we're losing all our rights?
