Jesus Christ was the result of a natural father, either Joseph the carpenter or someone else in Nazareth. Mary was a virgin prior to becoming a mother due to Jesus Christ. The virgin birth of Jesus is as real as the idea Adam was created from river sand by God and Eve was created later from a rib from Adam. The virgin birth is as real as the talking snake in the Garden of Paradise. The idea of the virgin birth, star of Bethlehem and other stories have a logical explanation. Matthew's gospel is to show Jews that Jesus was the fulfillment of those writings. It is more inspiring to think of Jesus the man originating from natural means but living a life guided by doing the will of the Father in heaven Most atheists and scientists claim that it is impossible for a virgin to give a birth, and they give this as one of the reasons for not being religious or believing in God.
