Why is it that I can see violence, blood and killings on American television all the time, but not sex. Is it somehow more OK to be violent than sexual?
sex is supposed to be naturally for married couples to make babies. all other sex is greed. it is not good. try to stop your greedy desires. they are bad. too many people these days are being bad this way. they even 'put the moves on women'. this is rape. be good guys and girls. save sex for marriage. — jesus christ We were founded by puritans. The culture is still highly influenced by it. Honestly you raise a good point, but if you noticed it is changing. What is acceptable sex nowadays is way more than just a few decades ago.
Violence may pay better for a broadcasting company, but it certainly doesn't pay better for the victims...No man. Violence pays better. Thats all that there's to it. If you season it with a little bit of sex, you've got a winner. They show sex on some channels, and people watching it still go to work. If they showed sex on television nobody would go to work. What violence am I actually talking about, on the movie, or in reality that is being shown on television?Why is it that I can see violence, blood and killings on American television all the time, but not sex. Is it somehow more OK to be violent than sexual? It is because of religious hypocrisy of lawmakers. It is also because it is not in the interest of the power elite for people to be happy, fulfilled, healthy as promotion of sex and love would contribute to; it is in their interest to make people miserable, violent, and unhappy - then they can manipulate more easily with our emotions and frustrations. If American Television showed sex in their shows, it would be restricted to a much smaller population than if there is just violence. The fact that it is disproportionate has no relevance to promoting violent activity or demoting sexual activity. It is simply so they can have more viewers
There are forces in this country that have twisted 'morals' which tell them that naked body and sex is immoral, but killings, blood, violence, torturing, and similar things are somehow moral. If violence pays better, why are there so many more porn sites on internet, than violence related sites? Why is there so much more sex related spam mail, than violence related? Spammers want to make money, don't they? 'Violence pays better' is a myth. I think people are violent since they are told the human body is something to be ashamed of. Skewed morals eh?
