What makes a good restaurant?

Why is organic food better than non-organic conventional food? Good chefs take special care when they choose where to buy ingredients. They try to buy fresh produce, if possible organic and from local farms. Some food is grown with pesticides and herbicides, other without. Some animals with growth hormones, other without. Some animals in cruel conditions, others without. Some has GM modifications, while other don't. So there are differences. Why does it matter where the food comes from? Isn't apple an apple, salmon a salmon? To find out if a restaurant is bad, simply ask a waiter where the food comes from. If restaurant doesn't know where the food is coming from, think twice before ordering it. [1] How can I know if a restaurant is good before I order something? I've never been there before, I don't know anyone who ate there, nor is there a review on the Internet. What makes a good restaurant?
Organic food is natural, therefore probably more healthy. Organic farming doesn't use pesticides, chemical fertilizers, genetically modified organisms. Food isnot processed using irradiation, industrial solvents, or chemical food additives.

Lets not forget the difference in taste in some foods, like tomato.
