Music information search
As the person before said, when humming to a live person I believe it is possible to find the right song but I don't think daily technology has advanced enough to be able to do this. We have apps like shazam who perform similar features but I just don't think its advanced enough to recognize songs based on multiple peoples individuals voices. I worked in a music store for 10 years and people used to do this all the time. They would call or come in to hum a melody in the hopes that we could help them to identify the song. I'd say we were able to help them over 75% of the time. Way more fun than humming into a computer. This is a good idea though and should exist if it doesn't already. Might even have a higher success rate. Try the music store thing for sure though! my brillant idea
hmm.. interesting topic wow... it's a great idea!how much has voice recognition been developed these days? that's interesting.. That's such a great idea! Search by images exists (you only need to point a camera in the object, and search engine will give you details about the object). However, I think there is no similar application for music at the moment. really? i've never heard it before.. could you tell me who does that?
Well.. there have been some research about it..Are there any music search engines using voice queries? Can we search music only by humming of the melody into a mic? Music information search
