How do you feel female/male? I don't mentally feel that I am a gender, even though sexually I am female. How do you define feeling female as opposed to feeling male?
I'd struggled with this idea for a long time because I definitely felt like a woman, but explaining what that meant was hard. Ultimately, the best description I could come up with was "In a room of men, I'm an outcast. In a room of women, I'm home." Maybe I am also transgender if I feel this way!? Society is putting out these really weird ideas that you can feel male or female. These terms relate to medical, biological facts that have nothing to do with the way you feel, the way you choose to dress or your personality because the gender that you are born with does not define who you are. One cannot "feel male" or "feel female". This concept is really insane, as individuals we are so complex thats its impossible to feel male/female. You could feel feminine ect but these feelings have nothing to do with biological sex. It's all about their mind. Transgender people suffer from gender dysphoria, meaning they feel like they're "in the wrong body" or that their body doesn't fit their gender. If you look at transgender people's brains, they don't match the gender they were born with. For instance, a transgender woman (meaning they were born male) would have the brain of a woman, or really similar. Being transgender is a medical condition, and people seem to be forgetting that these days. god made you a girl, you can't get into heaven as a transgender, gay, lesbian or bisexual person. keep that in mind. it's really not up to you. it's god's choice. When I was a kid I enjoyed my identity, and as I got old enough to understand gender differences and eventually puberty and sexuality, I realized that everyone else saw me as a girl but I thought of myself as a guy. That's how I knew I was transgender. I don't know it scares me and I have no one to talk to it about Saying that God made us the way we are is an over-simplistic answer to a complex issue. People have also been born conjoined twins or with a cleft pallet. Would you insist they stay that way because God made must've wanted them to be that way? God's plan in creation is not something we can always discern. People change things that don't fit about themselves all the time, even medically, and I believe God is perfectly fine with that. I think your question is valid. Most of the time when a person fits comfortably in their gender, they don't "feel" one way or another about it. Everything just fits. But if you were to, for instance, make your son wear a dress to school and call himself Susan, he might really object to that. He doesn't identify as female psychologically, so that gender wouldn't fit. Same for a trans person. Their body doesn't fit their psychology.I am not transgendered, so my opinion doesn't really hold much weight. All I know is that if you did feel like a particular gender, you would know. If you don't feel like a gender, you don't have to. All that ultimately matters is that god made you the way you are, and as long as you love him back in return, there is no reason to worry.I am a Female, And I have just learned my male friend is really a Female. I asked her how she feels, She told me that she knows she is physically a male, but would rather do female things, like put on makeup and have sleep overs. She says she hates waking up in the morning and trying to convice herself to act male. She was put in the wrong body. I am a female and as a female, you think alot more into things, and ask more questions then a male, Also express their feelings more. (: hope It helped?@transgenders
