if you dont have money to raise a child, you shouldt have a child. true or false?
Many people have only basic living standard and yet rise happy families. If it is a warm country, all you need is a roof above your head and basic food.. Obviously TRUE. Why is this even a debate? If you cannot afford a dog bed and dog food should you get a dog? No. If you know that you cannot physically, fully care for a child you should not bring it into the world.Isn't the premise of this question flawed? It proposes that every child comes into this world as a product of deliberate intentions. An end result of rational beings making an active and informed choice. This is by no means always the case. Now, money does factor in when raising a child. But so does time and family, which are not dependent on how much money the parents have or haven't got. And finally, money does, to some extent dictate opportunity, but does it dictate a parents ability to love? That is such a heart breaking thing though. That is why if accidents tend to happen, give up for adoption.True, in modern social society. If you don't have the economic resources to have children without sacrificing basic needs (as they are today) like electricity, clean clothes, healthy foods and such... then you should not have children. In nature this isn't an issue... but we are NOT in nature. In today's social society, children who are either unwanted or not looked after, and this is common, have a profoundly negative effect on said society.
so that's about $1k/month + some extra for saving/travel? 1k/month for 2 persons (a couple) might be enough with really careful spending. if that couple had one child, that would make a family of 3, and that would definitely be very very hard to support with such a little money. they would need to pay the rent -lets say in a suburb about 350 with all utilities. transportation for all three 150. then food + medical/social/pension + clothes +extra should add up to 500. seems almost impossible. lets say...below the poverty line (14,570 annual income for a family of 2 as of 2009)if you dont have money to raise a child, you shouldt have a child. true or false? How much money are we talking about? Money for food and clothes, or also money for education and vacations and hospitals?
